A participatory one to one performance installation William produced with Strangeworks, commissioned by the Barbican and supported by MIND charity. The project explored the relationships between home, memory and mental health. Members of the public were invited to enter a room-sized cardboard box with an object of their own choice. Once inside, they were met by ‘The Collector’ performed by Ed Rapley who listened to the memories sparked by their chosen object. Finally participants were photographed with the object and a word in response to it. The photographs were projected publicly on the walls of the Barbican.
