The Ilen Feast was multicultural Sunday lunch which took place by the Ilen river in Skibbereen, West Cork. Guests were invited to bring a dish from their native country. Over 40 people from 12 different countries participated. The feast was situated between an Old Steam Mill (once a famine soup kitchen) and the banks of the Ilen River and old railway bridge, once of the main transport in and out of Skibbereen. As part of the event, William transformed the Old Steam mill into a camera obscura, capturing an giant image of the feast taking place. The exposure took roughly 30 minutes.
